HA FF Award Programme

The HA FF awards can be obtained for radio contacts and SWL reports with approved operations from HA FF areas (HA FF AWARD) and as well as for activating HA FF areas (HA FF Activator) . 

HA FF AWARD – for those licensed radioamateurs and SWLs who made the required number of radio contacts / SWL reports with stations with a issued HAFF reference operating from Hungarian national parks and natural reserves.

The award can not be endorsed for any band or mode.

Any radioamateur frequency bands and modes licensed in Hungary can be used.

Contacts made via terrestrial repeaters are not valid for the award.

Any HA FF area can be counted once regardless of the QTH of the operations inside those areas.

The contacts made after the 1 January of the year when the natural park or the sanctuary was established are valid.

If the claimed contacts are shown in the WFF Online Log, QSLs are not necessary. Otherwise the QSL cards have to be submitted with the application.

The awards can be requested via email (ha0khw@c3.hu)  if all the contacts are listed in the WFF Online Log. Otherwise the application and the QSLs have to be mailed to the WFF (HA) coordinator: HA0HW - Szabó László - 4151 Püspökladány, Pf. 24.  After the checking and validation procedure the QSL cards will be mailed back to the address provided by the applicant.

The fee awards shall be sent either via mail or via bank transfer to the a 61400155-15003676-00000000 account of the Regionális Rádiós Sportklub of  Püspökladány, or via PayPal to saxy 'at' freemail.hu.

Cost of each award:

Inland (HA): 1000 HUF

Abroad: 10 USD or 7 EUR or 7 IRC

A basic BRASS award requires radio contacts with 12 HA FF areas including at least 5 contacts with National Parks (listed under HAFF-001-010) .

SILVER level requires 24 HA FF areas including at least 8 contacts with National Parks.

For the GOLDEN level all areas need to be contacted.

HA FF Activator Award is issued for those who operated an amateur radio station from the Hungarian national parks and Nature Reserves under the following conditions:

- At least 44 QSOs are made during the operation.

- informs the WFF (HA) program coordinator about the operation

- uploads the log of the operation to WFF Online Log in ADIF format.

The award can be requested after 3 approved activations.

The fee of mailing the certificate can be sent either via mail or via bank transfer to the a 61400155-15003676-00000000 account of the Regionális Rádiós Sportklub of  Püspökladány.

Cost of certificate:

Inland (HA): 1000 HUF

Abroad: 10 USD or 7 EUR or 7 IRC
